so yesterday i received a phone call from the SCI research executive lady who's been liaising with me on my application... seems like a nice lady... haha.. she called me to tell me that she just sent the offer letter to my email, and that the hardcopy is on its way :) then i was like opening the document and talking to her at the same time.. haha... she's really nice la, was telling me about the stuff i need to take note of, the matriculation venue & date etc..
anyway i feel very relieved now that at least it's confirmed :P well at least i will have income for at least the next 1 yr (and i heard that the 2nd yr stipend is not that hard to qualify for). At least i can support myself le... heehee.. planning to save up the majority of the $ and use it to pay for my undergrad studies sch fees.. then the rest for everyday use i.e. transport & meals - and if i manage to save up from this portion, i can use it to buy more lolita stuff!!! :P heh~
now the next step is to wait for stuff to settle down, then we can start planning for the discussions with our parents le.. his parents 1st.. then mine :P k la, actually i dun mind if we dun ROM next yr... but if that's the case, i wanna have the ROM + customary tgt (either on the same day or less than a mth apart that kind) by March 2011. Bcoz.... ya, i said many times le... i wanna have my 1st kid by 2011 dec :P heehee.. while i'm still 25.. bleahx! aiya... what i mean is, i hope we can at least discuss abt the dates 1st, then i can feel more secure, more at ease, and have something to look forward to, and it will also make my 2 yrs of studies more enjoyable coz i know something happy will happen at this particular date.. so even if we can't ROM in 2010, but manage to discuss and settle for 2011, i will still feel happy. u know, at least like engaged le :P and i dun think discussing 1.5 yrs prior to the actual date is too early lor.. need preparation also mah.. like look for ROM venues, dinner banquet choices, engage photographer & videographer, and also the gowns.. actually i'm not really excited abt all the dinner & beautiful gown.. i'm more excited abt the fact of being his Mrs Fish.. heehee :P
we went window-shopping for solitaire ring ytd.. haha.. dearie say solitaire ones look better than the 1-row kind... he say that type wait for wedding band :P ok at least now i know he knows what i like... must wait for him to earn some $ 1st right... if not how to upgrade.. haha.. ok i'll wait... u said by that certain month, so i'll wait for that certain month (let's see if he keeps his promise ba)... sorry i'm not gonna say here.. it's our little secret.. but it's b4 2009 ends.. heehee~
ahh.... i was so excited abt these 2 issues that i can't slp last night :X
