i think i got it sorted out already

to some ppl, marriage is like an insecure move to seek validation and affirmation of the love in your r/s by signing the papers. but to others, it's purely the natural progression brought by the desire to share one's life with his/her significant other. And I know I belong to the latter. Ppl who belong to the 1st group (i'm referring to those forumers who are like so anti-marriage) are probably either losers who got divorced/ditched/hurt/humiliated by their ex-es, or jerks who don't have the courage to commit to their gfs and think they could get the best of both worlds by cohabitating with these gals. And these commitment phobic jerks still have the cheek to say "if my gf mention marriage, i'll just leave her". tmd, females' youth not for u to waste away like that

i know i'm ready to commit to my dearie coz i know i love him a lot, and he loves me just as much :P heehee... ok i sounds a bit bhb... but the point i wanna make is, these guys probably don't even know how to love their gfs. they probably love themselves more. i can say anything i want coz my blog is private and those forumers won't get to see what i typed. but i really feel that these r just irresponsible jerks la!!! true, ppl do have a change in mindset, probably change of life goals, and change in attitude. some ppl even have a change of heart. but i once read this story with this line saying, "would you not have fish for the rest of your life after seeing someone choke on fish bone? would you not cross the road anymore because someone died in a car accident?" marriage is sort of like a gamble. i think we shld all be safe if we just avoid the high risk games.. but some ppl very suay, buy "blue chips" also can lose a lot of money (the lucky ones buy big sweep and win millions of dollars). luck lor. ok la, i shldn't sound so bochup.. at least in marriage, u have the opportunity (and responsibility) to make things work, unlike gambling. i dunno exactly how many more couples under the age of 25 divorce as compared to those above 25. But the thing is, there are also many who are under 25 who lead a blissful life, and many who are well above 30 and still face marriage problems! Age can at most be the rough guide to when shld one get married, but it is not the best gauge.

i know ppl r saying that i'm to naive. i haven't even gotten a job, yet i'm saying so much. what makes me so sure that andy and i won't change after we get a job. Pls la, there are still a lot of ppl who knew their bf/gf while in school who stay happily attached after they enter the workforce. My sis' bf, for one, had proven that as long as u're willing to put in the effort, u can maintain the r/s well. my sis is those very demanding type, even worse than me (nvm she dun have access to my blog), but her bf is able to handle her. and their LDR worked out fine!

sorry for the rambling. just felt a bit buay song at the forumers and needed to vent my anger.. haha... and ya la, i'm also trying to find a good reason why i should get married this yr and not a couple of yrs later.
